Our company Rumudamo Coffee Industry Trade PLC in the Ethiopia COE 2021 competition won THE 9th place scoring 88.47. Cup of Excellence winners showcase the countries most amazing flavors: only possible when varietal, terroir, and harvesting are all in harmony.

The winning lots are the top 30 coffees that scored above an 87.38 by the Cup of Excellence International Jury. These coffees have each been cupped a minimum of five different times during the cupping process. The coffee is packaged in 30kg boxes containing two 15kg vacuum-packed bags.

Ethiopian Coffee Exporters Association with financial support from USAID'S Feed the Future Ethiopia Value Chain Activity and in partnership with the Ethiopian Coffee and Tea Autherity and the Alliance for Coffee Excellence is organizing the second Cup of Excellence Competioin in Ethiopia. Rumudamo Coffee Industry PLC  has made it to the pre-selection winners, the top 150 coffees out of the 1848 samples collected. We are very excited and looking forward to the next round of competition with our high quality and naturally processed coffee.

Sydney coffee pioneers Single O will celebrate International Coffee Day, on Thursday 1 October, with one of Ethiopia’s finest examples, offering fans the chance to indulge at $20 a cup.

The Rumudamo coffee, from a previously unknown supplier, came in second place of 1,459 entries in the first-ever Ethiopian Cup of Excellence (the Oscar’s of coffee) earlier this year. Single O was lucky enough to pick up just 60 kilos of the magic beans.
